"Ring Ring, Ring Ring...

A: Hello?

UU Inc: Hello! And welcome to Uncooperative Uterus Incorporated. Thank you for your call.

A: Some quality! Hello? Could I please get someone live on the line?

UU Inc: Please continue to wait. Your call will be answered in the order in which it was received. To access our automated menu, please choose one of the following options. To request the onset of menses, please press 1. To register a complaint about unproductive cramping, please press 2. To report an absence of spotting, please press 3. A:!#@%!!! Sigh. *

UU Inc: Due to unusual call volume, we are unable to process your request for a miscarriage at this time. Please try your call again later."

Yeah, ain't nothin happinin here, unless you count the onset of depression as an indication that my HCG levels are finally getting the idea and starting to drop. Anyway, thanks so much to all of you for holding me in your thoughts. *Please* continue to hold!

What a horrible drag. It must be just awful for you. I'm so sorry, Anne.

Continuing to hold, my dear. Thinking of you. And sending you a big comfort hug.

And as for UUI, I hate that f*ing company. I'm a longtime customer myself, and am personally thinking of taking my custom elsewhere. I hear Obliging Ovaries is much better. Care to join me?

Thinking of you still and hoping you get some resolution.

There's no slow torture quite like waiting for an inevitable miscarriage to happen. I wish you didn't have to go through this, Anne. I'm sorry that you're feeling depressed, and I'm keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.

Be gentle with yourself. We're thinking of you and know just how hard this all is. Your sense of humor and superb writing skills are shining through even in this difficult time.

This has got to be the crappiest wait of all. I never could understand it, or why the docs don't just go for the drugs and get it over with. So sorry you have to do this. Thinking of you.

Thinking about you; hoping you're ok - though what "ok" might mean at this point, I'm not sure.
